God chose you based on his mercy, not your performance.  You'll never earn it.  You'll never deserve it.  You couldn't work hard enough for it.  You couldn't be perfect enough.  It's only because of God's grace and mercy that the Creator of the universe says, "I want you in my family." If that doesn't encourage you, you'd better check your pulse.
 

For 2010, let's make an extra effort to keep our club, country & our troops in prayer.

 Continue to monitor the Prayer - N - Praise page...Please keep those in prayer that were mentioned at the meeting.  Thank God for prayer, its a gift and a blessing from our Father. 

A bunch of members celebrating September Birthdays---Shad on the 8th, Bubba on the 20th, Jeromy Stansbury on the 21st, Bryan Tabor on the 26th and Mark Angelle on the 30th..Happy Birthday to each of you....

Anglers of Christ will hold its next meeting on Monday, October 4 at 7:00 PM.  Remember, you do get bonus weight by attending each meeting for the 12 months of the year. 

All meetings are held at Crossroads Church at the corner of I-10 and I-49.  Membership fees for 2010 are $100 for the full year. After the first 6 months of the year the fee will be prorated.  Any men interested in joining are asked to contact one of the following or by showing up at a meeting.
