Top Guns for the day at Chicot...16.52 lbs of fish and 1 short of a team limit. Ricky took 2nd Place big fish with a 4.25 lb fish, Austin took 3rd with a 3.75 lb bass
2nd Place team had 11.53 lbs of bass...Mark also had Big Fish for the day with a nice 5.97 lb keeper
Joe was to embarrassed to take a picture of a fish smaller than a pound, however he was also jealous...0.99 lbs and 11th Place...look hard, enlarge the picture, there is a fish there.

3rd Place on Day 1 and Overall Leaders with a record breaking catch of 36.57 lbs, anchored by Mark's 6.94 lb Big Fish for the tournament. Bubba put in a solid performance as well.
5.75 lb fish vaults you into 2nd Place Overall, 3 keepers a day both days...
Take a good look at it, it was the last time we will eat there...as one guy said, I have seen bacon thicker than that sirloin...

1st Place Team-David Hebert & Lawrence Brunet w/14.28 lbs. Lawrence wrapped up his 5th year as AOC and is the 1st angler to top the 100 lb mark for the year.
2nd Place Team-Elmer Savoie & Tim Choate with 10.75 lbs. Providing Tim makes the meeting, he will wrap up another Top Six, strong finish going from 9th to 6th this tournament. 3 hands come in handy...

Joe and Mark hooked 2nd Place with a 7.20 lb total weight
Scott & David finished up in 8th Place with their 2.50 lb total weight

Doc & Lawrence wallop some bass with 18.64 lbs, 5 fish stringer. Lawrence also led the pack with 3 bass coming in at 13.20 lbs. He also had 1st Big Bass with 5.16 lbs and 2nd Place with a 4.86 lbs fish.
Mark & Gene caught 4 fish for 2nd Place with 11.00 lbs of bass
David Hamner is not sure if this is the sun coming up or the moon going down...Those early starts will do that to you...
